Little Red Riding Hood
A little girl in a red hooded cape walks through the woods to bring cake and butter to her unwell grandmother, meets a cunning wolf along the way, and discovers him hiding in grandmother's bed — but with a woodcutter's help, everyone ends up safe, sharing cake together.

The Red Cape
There is a little cottage at the edge of a village. Inside, a little girl is getting ready for a walk.
Her grandmother made her a beautiful cape. It is red, soft, and has a hood that fits just right. The little girl loves it so much that everyone calls her Little Red Riding Hood.
One morning, her mother sets a basket on the table. Inside there is a round, golden cake and a small pot of butter. 'Grandmother is feeling poorly,' says her mother. 'Will you bring these to her?'
Little Red Riding Hood nods happily. She puts on her red cape, picks up the basket, and steps out into the morning sunshine. The path into the woods begins just beyond the garden gate.
